Rebecca is a Professor at the University of Minnesota Department of Forest Resources. She specializes in plant ecology, forest management, and ecosystem-scale responses to climate change. Her lab seeks to answer questions relating to the effects of global climate change on terrestrial ecosystems, diversification of species, and how exotic species invade habitats. She enjoys splitting her time 50/50 between research and teaching, and offers invaluable insights to the ASCC team because of her background in plant physiology.
In her off-work hours, Rebecca can be found spending time with her kids, traveling the state to engage with various forestry projects, and relaxing at her cabin.
