Leslie Brandt is a Climate Change Specialist for the Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science and the Climate Change Coordinator for the Eastern Region of the US Forest Service. She combines forest management with climate change science to help people make knowledgeable decisions on their forest management techniques. Leslie also focuses on educational programs and has developed resources and trainings on climate change.
She is the co-leader for the Crosby Farms ASCC project and Claire and Cully’s mentor for the SLAWR REU 2021.
Outside of science Leslie enjoys running, knitting, and spending time with her two kids, husband, and two cats.
