Great last week of fieldwork! After being out in the field collecting bees and floral data we would make a stop at the lake and swim a bit before data entry!

This week we continued collecting bee data, huckleberry collecting, and phenology. These are photos from this week in the field and spending the day in Polson at the lake after the Cherry festival!

This week of doing field work we came across some very friendly horse, many bees and beautiful views of flathead lake at one of our sites!

This week we worked the stream table and got to experience the powwow! We also got a chance to spend part of the day relaxing in the sun by the lake.

Our diverse work sites are absolutely beautiful! The steep dense forests are a bit of a challenge, but the fresh air and natural surroundings are always a sight worth seeing! Some of these photos are also from our mini adventure to Glacier NP. So much wildlife in such a short time!

This week has been full of so many exciting events and amazing sites! From catching over 30 bees 🐝 in a beautiful meadow overlooking the vast mountains, seeing vibrant flowers bloom, and editing my proposal for my project in a cozy coffee shop. Montana has been great!
