Hi everyone! I’m Zanti Rains and I’m a student in team SPAW this summer. My project is about working on wetland loss in Flathead Lake Montana.

I’m from Tampa and I go to Florida State University as an Environmental Science major. I went to an arts infused high school as a dancer and although I don’t dance anymore I still love to be active. Some of my favorite activities here are going sailing and kayaking, scrapbooking, and going to the gym. Besides my parents and siblings, everyone in my family lives in the Northwest. One of my dreams is to move back to that part of the country one day and work in some way that combines helping the environment and the community!
