About Me

I am a student at The University of Minnesota, Morris studying geology. I will be graduating in the spring of 2023. Hydrology will be the focus of my major. Academically, I have an interest in science in general, geology, and math. I would like to work for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources after college.

The REU SLAWR is a great opportunity for me to get involved with environmental research for my first time, putting me along a path that aims toward an environmental career.

My hobbies include baking, cooking, rollerblading, kayaking, drawing, hiking, and ice skating. My favorite foods are watermelon, pizza, and cinnamon roll coffee cake.

I grew up in South Dakota with three siblings and moved around a lot, which helped make me more open-minded. My mom raised us, making sure we were having a well-rounded childhood, which included taking us into nature. I am grateful to her for my current aspirations.
